Leading AI Strategy: next programme with Trinity Executive Education starts 16 November
Technology Ireland Digital Skillnet in partnership with Trinity Executive Education, Trinity Business School, helps leaders discover how to harness the extraordinary potential of AI. The next programme starts on Monday 16 November 2026.
The two-day programme is for functional, operational and technology leaders who are responsible for how AI is adopted in their team, function or organisation. That includes Heads of, Directors and Senior Managers in areas such as operations, finance, customer service, HR and supply chain, as well as leaders of software engineering, product, data and cybersecurity teams. No previous technical knowledge of AI is needed.
From experiments to results
The technology is now widely available. What sets organisations apart is how well their people adopt it. Across four modules, participants learn what AI can and can't do, how to identify and evaluate opportunities and build a business case, and how to lead the cultural change that makes adoption stick. They leave with practical frameworks they can use straight away.
Understanding the risks
The EU AI Act is already in force. Organisations using AI have obligations, including supporting the AI literacy of their staff, with further requirements phasing in through 2027 and 2028. The programme looks at what the Act means for participants' organisations and what responsible, compliant adoption looks like.
Closer to home, there is the question of shadow AI: staff using free or unapproved AI tools for work. Our own research, Right-Sizing AI at Work, found that 13.6% of workers surveyed aren't sure what their organisation's AI policy is. Leading AI Strategy shows leaders how to spot shadow AI, put the right guardrails in place and give their teams approved ways to work with AI.
